Day 1 : Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges : 3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Fes:
Our tour starts from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. We travel across the Tizi-N-Tichka Atlas pass (2260m), with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and take a guided tour of the Kasbah of El Glaoui, former War Lord and Pasha of Marrakech. We continue and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village (ksour). We have lunch at Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate and continue to Dades Gorges where we will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 2 : Dades gorges – Todra gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi dunes :
After breakfast, we start our day tour with a drive towards the Todra Gorges where many rock climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Later we continue our journey, following the ancient Bedouin trading routes parallel with the Middle Atlas, passing a series of fortified villages with outstanding pre-Saharian architecture. The route to Erfoud is one of the most pleasing of all the Southern routes. The town is in a dry red built of desert and was built by the French as a central administration town. It is known for its rich black fossils marble. The stone is sculpted to bring the fossils into relief on everything from ashtrays to washbasins and more. We head down to the spectacular Merzouga dunes where sand dunes signify the start of the mighty Sahara Desert. We leave our vehicle and take a camel ride into the desert to a Berber camp. To seal this as an experience of a lifetime, why not surf the Sahara Desert and try sand Dunes Boarding? After dinner, we gather around the fire and enjoy the desert night perhaps with traditional Berber drums.
Day 3 : Merzouga Desert – Midlet – Azrou – Fes :
Today we continue our tour from Fes. So our camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise in your life. Afterward, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your riad appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast and shower in the local guest house, we’ll travel to Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi N’Talghamt pass to Midelt. Then stopping in Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and refresh with a glass of mint tea before continuing our Fes Desert Tours 3 Days to Azrou. In fact, it’s a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains. There where we’ll stop to see the Barbarian apes in the cedar forest. Then we continue the tour to Ifrane called the Switzerland of Morocco, stopping for a picture or a drink before arriving at your accommodation where the Fes Desert Tours 3 Days end.
