3 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Fes

 Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga :

After breakfast, we will start traveling south to Merzouga desert via Midelt and Errachidia. So, on this Olhamdo Morocco Tours, your first stop will be at Ifrane city, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, and then to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley. During this journey, you will experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Then stop at the famous cedar forest – the largest one in Morocco Africa. There you will have the opportunity to see the Barbarian monkey. You will notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach Errachidia city. After lunch in Midelt, continue your tours in morocco along the spectacular Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We will drive through Berber villages to Erfoud then to Rissani; the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea, and after you will go to see the sunset in the highest sand dunes in Merzouga. Overnight at our hotel where you will have your dinner.

 Day 2: Dunes Tour in The Sahara Desert :

This morning after breakfast in the Auberge, you will have a tour of the dunes on 4×4 allowing you to visit the black volcanic rocks of marble fossils, visit a nomad family living intent, visit khamlia village famous with black people and entertainment with their spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit the lake Date Sarji that forms in springtime which attracts pink flamingos and wildlife. Then you will have a break for lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. After lunch, you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located at the foot of the dunes. Continue to your hotel to relax and get ready for a camel trek for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a traditional nomad tent. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.

 Day 3: Erg Chebbi Dunes – Fes :

Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. Later on, we transfer you to Fes, Drop you off in Fes.
