Program Overview:

8 Days Private Tour from Casablanca:

Day 1 : Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes :

Upon arrival, we will collect you and drive to Casablanca where you’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest one in Morocco, and experience the coastal Cornish seaside. After, we’ll get the road to Fes,  taking us along a beautiful stretch of farmlands where olives, grain, vegetables, and grapes are grown.

Before arriving in Fes, we will visit Meknes and Volubilis. Volubilis is the sight of the famous Roman ruins left from the Roman Empire’s southern outpost. Meknes is the site of the first Arab dynasty created by Moulay Ismail and has the Madrasa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour; the Gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace. This leads us to the Heri es-Souani, the horse’s stable and granaries. Upstairs is a rooftop garden and cafe with a great view of the city. Arrive in Fes, and check into the hotel.

Day 2: Fes Sightseeing :

After breakfast, we will begin our visit to “the oldest living Medina in the world” with a local official tour guide. We will tour the Medina with its “souks” (traditional markets), stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th-century Karouine Mosque, and the University. We will visit also the tomb of the city founder “Moulay Idriss II”.

Lunch will be held at one of the traditional restaurants in the old Medina. After lunch, we will continue our tour to visit the Nejjarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden, and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

Day 3 : Fes – Merzouga :

In the morning we will pass through mountains to a region known as Imouzzer, which is blanketed by forests of cedar, juniper, and cork oak. The area is well known for having abundant wildlife and we may see many types of birds, wild boar, and Barbary apes on our scenic drive.

 Then the road will start climbing into the Middle Atlas Mountains where we may see the slopes dotted by the tents and goat herds of nomadic Berbers who call this rugged region home.

 After late lunch in Midelt, we continue on mountain roads overlooking the wide-flowing Oued Ziz. Passing Kasbahs and palm groves, we’ll pass through the colored city of Er-Rachidia and arrive in the late afternoon at Merzouga, a city on the outskirts of the Sahara Desert where we will spend the night.

Day 4 : Tour around Erg Chebbi by 4×4 – Camel ride and night in Desert Camp :

In the morning, we start our tour around the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will visit a Berber house still practicing the nomadic life,  then go listen to spiritual  Gnawa music in Khamlia village. We will visit some deserted mines, Berber nomads, and the oasis of palm trees. For lunch, we will head back to Merzouga. After relaxing for a while, we will go for camels that are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes.

 We will spend the night in an equipped camp, which is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. When we arrive at the camp, we climb the high dunes to see the sunset. We’ll spend the night with drums music in the middle of the Sahara in nomad tents.

Day 5 : Merzouga - Errissani - Jorf - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley/ Gorges :

We will wake up early morning to watch the remarkable sunrise of Erg-Chebbi when the color of the dunes combines with the play of shadows to make an awesome sight. After a cup of tea, we ride the camels for a couple of hours (or less; it is up to you), in the Kasbah/ Riad/Hotel, you will have breakfast and shower, before leaving for the fortified village of Rissani in the Tafilalt region. Nestled at the edge of the Ziz Valley, Rissani is a traditional desert village yet houses the impressive Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sharif, the first ruler of the Alawite dynasty, which thrived here in the 17th century. Journey through the impressive Todra Gorges and past the eastern slopes of the Atlas Mountains to Tinghir Oasis, with its green valley of palms and local villages, before continuing on a scenic drive through the Dades Valley, also known as the ‘Valley of 1000 Kasbahs. Overnight in Dades Valley.

Day 6 : Gorges Dades – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech :

We leave our station to get into the High Atlas, where you’ll observe the change of life of Berbers and mountains and the difference between the desert nomads and the Atlas. We will see the caves where they live, and take tea with them and we talk to them about their habits and play with kids. Will continue to track the path and then enter the Valley of Roses, where its people made creams, soaps, and the famous rose water from all natural crops of roses. Lunch in a typical local restaurant in the village of Boutghrar and then we go into the valley to Ouarzazate to finish our route that ends in Marrakech. Dinner and hotel accommodation as selected categories.

Day 7 : Full Day To Visit Marrakech :

On the 7th day of this trip “8 Days Private Tour from Casablanca “.  The full-day tour will be all about Marrakech; the most interesting sightseeing, This sightseeing tour will cover several impressive sights: Such as Menara, the Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, and Dar Si Said Palace Museum of Jewelry.

Optional lunch will be in the medina followed by a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. Enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe, dinner, and night at the hotel.

 Day 8: Marrakech - Airport :

Transfert from Marrakech to the airport (Marrakech or Casablanca).
