Program Overview:
2 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, in this new adventure you get to experience camel trekking, spend a night at a desert camp(bivouac), pass by the High Atlas mountains through Tizi N-tichka, and visit the small Berber villages that disguise in the landscapes of morocco.
2 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga :
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Taourirte – Ouarzazate – Merzouga :
2 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will start from the meeting point (hotel/riad/bus station…) at 7/8 AM, then we get the road for our adventure from Marrakech To Merzouga via Dades Gorge Across The Tizi-N-Tichka Atlas Pass. On our way to Ouarzazate you will notice Berber Villages are scattered along the way, we will make a stop for a cup of tea and relax before we continue our way to Kasbah Taourirte, and then visit the well-known Cinema studio.
After having lunch in Ouarzazate, we will pass through the Valley roses of Boumalne Dades, Tinghir, and other little and big villages. while we continue our way towards Merzouga you will start to notice the hint of the Sahara desert.
When you get to the hotel you will take a break, then take The necessary luggage For your Night In the Desert while you leave the rest in the hotel. This is when you start a whole different experience away from vehicles; You will get to Ride The Camels on an Adventure Crossing The Sand Dunes of Erg Chebbi, When we reach the camp, we will leave the camels to have some sand walking, and get the chance to feel the sand on your feet and how is it like, then came back to spend the night with dessert family.
Day 2 : Merzouga Desert - Draa Valley - Anti Atlas - Ouarzazate – Marrakech :
On our second day in the 2 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. We start our journey by enjoying this remarkable beautiful view of the sunrise and walking over the sand dunes and admiring the amazing landscape of the Erg Chabbi Sand dunes. After breakfast, we start our way back to Marrakech. We will travel through the deserted landscape of the Draa Valley and make stops to enjoy the valley and the Draa River, which is the longest river in Morocco.
We will have lunch in Ouarzazate. In the afternoon we will drive over the breathtaking scenery of the High Atlas. We will arrive in Marrakech late in the afternoon and transfer you to the hotel or Riad.
