Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. Stop at the old Kasbah Telouet, then visit the amazing Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site used in many films. End the day in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” for dinner and overnight.
Visit Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate, then drive through the Skoura palm groves and the Valley of Roses. Stop in Kelaat M’Gouna, famous for rose products. Arrive in the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its “monkey fingers” rock formations, and spend the night in a guesthouse.
