You will visit the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum, an important symbol of Morocco. Then, you’ll walk through the peaceful Kasbah of the Udayas, with its blue-and-white streets and views of the ocean. Later, you explore the quiet Chellah Necropolis, with beautiful Roman ruins and gardens.
Today, you will travel through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, known as the Blue City. The streets are painted in many shades of blue, creating a magical place to walk. You’ll explore the colorful medina, visit the Kasbah Museum, and enjoy the view from the fortress walls. You can also relax near the Ras El Maa Waterfall, just outside the town.
You’ll leave Chefchaouen and head to Fes, Morocco’s cultural heart. On the way, you’ll stop in Meknes to see the beautiful Bab Mansour gate and visit Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum. Later, you’ll explore Volubilis, an ancient Roman city filled with old mosaics and history. In the evening, you’ll arrive in Fes.
Today is a full day to discover Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. You’ll walk through Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO medina filled with narrow streets, markets, and local crafts. You’ll see Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest still-working university in the world. You’ll also visit the Chouara Tannery, where leather is made using old, traditional methods.
After breakfast, you’ll start the journey to the Sahara Desert. You’ll stop in Ifrane, a clean and quiet town called “Little Switzerland.” You’ll also pass through the Cedars Forest, where you may see wild monkeys. In the evening, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where camels will be ready to take you into the high Erg Chebbi dunes. You’ll watch the sunset in the desert, then enjoy music, dinner, and stargazing in a luxury desert camp.
You’ll wake up early to see the sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, you’ll leave Merzouga and travel through southern Morocco. On the way, you’ll stop at the tall cliffs of Todra Gorge, a great place for a short walk. You’ll then cross the High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass and arrive in lively Marrakech in the evening.
Today, you will explore the top sights of Marrakech. You’ll visit the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, full of performers, storytellers, and food. You’ll relax at the peaceful Majorelle Garden, a colorful garden designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle. You’ll also discover the beautiful Bahia Palace and the historic Saadian Tombs.
This is a free day in Marrakech to enjoy at your own pace. You can try a hot air balloon ride, take a short trip to the green Ourika Valley or the beautiful Ouzoud Waterfalls, or relax with a traditional hammam spa treatment. It’s a perfect time to shop, take photos, or enjoy a Moroccan meal.
