After breakfast, we leave Marrakech and head into the beautiful High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). Along the way, you’ll enjoy amazing views of valleys and traditional Berber villages.
We stop to visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for many movies. After exploring, we have lunch at a local restaurant.
And next, we will drive to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. You can to visit the movie studios here. We’ll travel through the lovely Rose Valley before arriving in Boumalne Dades for dinner and your overnight stay.
After breakfast, we travel through scenic villages and valleys until we reach the stunning Todra Gorges. These tall, narrow cliffs are perfect for a walk and photos.
After lunch, we continue through Erfoud, known for its fossils, and then on to the Merzouga Desert. Here, we’ll ride a camel into Erg Chebbi dunes.
You’ll enjoy an amazing sunset in the desert before arriving at your traditional Berber camp. After dinner, enjoy local music under the stars and spend the night in a desert tent.
Wake early to see the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Then, we drive past Errachidia to the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic photos.
We reach Midelt, a quiet town known for its apple orchards, where we stop for lunch. Later, we drive through cedar forests near Azrou, where you may see Barbary monkeys.
We pass through the clean, alpine-style town of Ifrane (called “Little Switzerland”) and finally arrive in Fes for your overnight stay.
After breakfast, a local guide will take you on a walking tour of the old city, Fes el-Bali. You’ll see traditional souks, madrasas, tanneries, and historic sites like the Karaouine Mosque.
After lunch, we head north through the beautiful Rif Mountains to the magical Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue City. After checking into your riad, enjoy free time to wander the peaceful, colorful streets.
Enjoy breakfast and one last stroll in Chefchaouen before driving to Tetouan, known as the White Dove for its bright buildings and Spanish-Moorish feel.
After a short visit, we continue to Tangier, a port city that connects Africa and Europe. Once we arrive, you’ll check into your hotel and have time to explore the city.
After breakfast, explore some highlights of Tangier, like the Kasbah, Cap Spartel, and the famous Caves of Hercules (optional entry).
Later, we drive along the coast to the small artistic town of Asilah, known for its white and blue walls and colorful murals. You’ll explore the medina, walk along the old Portuguese ramparts, and enjoy time to relax by the sea.
We leave Asilah after breakfast and head south to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. After lunch, we’ll explore some of its top sites, and the historic Kasbah of the Udayas, and we’ll visit tall Hassan Tower and After the tour, we’ll check into your hotel for your overnight stay in Rabat.
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Casablanca, Morocco’s biggest and most modern city.
